Designed especially for children and adolescents with special needs, Camp Civitan's Phoenix Summer Day Camp provides an affordable summer program for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 22, offering a variety of educational and enriching adventures and activities while also incorporating individual habilitation goals.
Each week of camp will be theme-based and all activities will be centered around that theme. Camp activities include but are not limited to swimming, arts & crafts, games & physical activities, field trips, and guest speakers. All of which provide participants with an incredible opportunity to develop and enhance socialization skills, as well as increase self-esteem, independence, and cooperation with others.
The program is offered during the summer months, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30. Morning, afternoon, and full day camps are available to fit individual schedules. Extended care before and after program hours is available for an additional fee.
